My Reflection
November 2, 2006
I was unable to attend the previous lesson due to unforseen circumstances. I did, however, find out what happened in class from my friends. I found out what the assignments were. That’s about it. I did this reflection for the sake of having a week 2 reflection.
Perhaps you have the wrong idea with reflections. You wouldn’t need to be in class in order to reflect. You would only need to be in class if you wanted to write a summary, and reflections are not supposed to be summaries.
Use the space to write. Fill it with fiction. Fill it with memoirs. Use it to respond and feedback to other people’s material. Use it to write stories based on other people’s openers. There are lots of opportunities, and there’s a flexibility in this space you don’t have in the regular writing assignments you get from me in class.
I hope I’ll get to see stronger reflections over these next six weeks.
