I) Pete snaps out of his reverie and chuckles to himself as he removes his hat from within his pants.

II) The thick dark clouds swirls overhead like blackcurrant smoothie in a blender.

III) Mark hears absolutely nothing as he enters the pub on ladies night.

IV) Richard limps around trying to find a support to hold up his heavy heart.

V) Marcus fights the temptation as years of surpressed anger begins to show in the veins of his eyes.

VI) The sky was as clear as a blank piece of paper dipped in mud.

VII) Michelle jumps into the air and does a somersault and as she lands, she hears her bone crack.

VIII) Michael steps on the accelerator and sends one tonne of destruction flying through the air.

IX) Genevive ducks as death flies right over her head and smashes into the wall behind.

X) All the monkeys stand in a line and start to tap dance as George giggles away.

XI) The air was so thick with suspicion that experts would have claimed it hazardous.

XII) The fuse was slowly burning out in Malcolm’s head as he tried counting backwards slowly from ten to one.

    Oh, it’s number nine. That’s definitely the one that inspires me to write.

    What’s up with the bad verbs, though? Almost half of these sentences are using these verbs incorrectly.
